i would like to share with everyone my E+ bike comments. i have installed a 1000 watt lipo kit to my bicycle and must say that i am very happy with the results. the first thing for me was the power output, much better then i expected and hill climbing is no problem. the kit comes with everything i needed and no extras to buy. i must say that the people working at E+ Electric Bike have been very helpful with my question and for sure this is a great product. by the way i have started to build my second E+ bike. ( Toronto, Canada )

  • I am amazed at the speed of the bikes, 30 mph!!

  • Rob Bookstein:

Does E+ offer the battery replacement service yet? Can E+ refurbish a Tidal Force S-750X front hub? I have one that needs it.

  • Eplus Electric Bikes:

Hi Rob, E+ does offer battery replacement service. We warranty and can replace the cells in all of our NiMH hub batteries designed to work with the E+ system.
Unfortunately, we’re not able to get parts for, or refurbish old Tidalforce batteries. While the Tidalforce and the E+ hub battery are both 36V and look very similar externally, the design of the cells and the battery management systems inside are very different.
Please consider one of our E+ Flex kits if you can not find anyone to refurbish your old Tidalforce battery, or don’t want to invest the money into the old system. We designed these kits so that they could be used as a direct replacement on existing Tidalforce bikes in the marketplace.

  • Rob Bookstein:

So it won’t work to buy an extra E+ hub battery and pop it into the Tidalforce?

  • Eplus Electric Bikes:

That is Correct, the communications systems between the Tidalforce and the E+ batteries are completely different. Also, the Tidalforce battery uses a 12 pin data connector while the E+ battery uses a smaller 6 pin connector.

  • Steve Larson:

    Rob,

Try LEVT for your Tidalforce hub refurb. 1(888) 880-1988

Shellee can do it for about $500 and your TF will be running like new.

  • Janet Strukel:

I have been having Shellee redo my Tidal Force bikes (5) for 4 years and it is $650 at least with shipping from Az. I now have the Tidal Forces for sale. Two need battery replacement and two don’t. Am ready to almost give them awayif anyone wants them.(503-510-1887) We now ride only our E+bikes.

Thanks Rob for the LEVT tip. Will use them to get my TF running again.
